Events at the Museum - 2020
Aside from viewing the historic toy trains, running our seven interactive train layouts, and visiting our library, visitors can participate in special events at the Museum!
Information on programs periodically offered may be seen below. Dates are posted as available. Programs are subject to change or cancellation; all programs may not be held every year.
Because of COVID-19 concerns, all special events cancelled for the 2020.

Open house events are held twice a year -- once in October and once in April. Admission to the museum is free for these all-day events and attendees are able to hear about the latest trends in the hobby from train manufacturers.

Book signing events are sometimes held during these open houses and at other times, offering people the opportunity to meet authors and/or illustrators and have their books personally inscribed. These are announced as scheduled.
The Train Collectors Association is a 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to develop an appreciation of and to preserve an important segment of history -- Tinplate Toy Trains -- through research, education, community outreach, fellowship, establishment of collecting standards and to promote the growth and enjoyment of collecting and operating toy, model and scale trains.
These events are in furtherance of that mission.
